A 26- (or 27?) year-old Asian-American male presents to clinic with drooling. He constantly chants "Next step? Management?" with eye-blinking, staring spells of 10 seconds, then resumes filling in imaginary bubbles with a #2 pencil. EEG shows 3 Hz spike-and-wave pattern. Eye-twitching and muscle fasciculations are apparent on physical exam. What should be the next step in his management?

Steven Do NOT take neurology at UC Irvine. No staff member has bothered to show up to the room for 90 minutes even though there's a scheduled shelf exam, and they're playing games with the other students. Total B.S.

Eventually I have to leave, but UCI-SOM doesn't even have funds to hire software engineers. Maybe I should do one last push, fix the site up, present it to administration and beg them for an engineer.
